Look they put me in a peach! (True Story)

Hey there! I’m Sebastian, and this is my personal corner of the web where I get to share things I’ve written on God knows what, poems, photos from my travels, and whatever else sparks my curiosity, creativity or that I just feel like sharing. Think of it as a mix tape of my thoughts, experiences, and random inspirations, it’s not the best hits yet since I’m only so young (26) but no strict theme, just whatever feels right in the moment.

A little about me, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science more specifically International Relations, which sounds impressive until you realize I don’t actually work in politics and haven’t in quite some time. That said, the degree gave me a solid foundation in critical thinking and understanding how the world ticks, even if my day job ended up in a different field. Nowadays, I’m immersed in the world of marketing, which I find as a profession that lets me combine strategy, storytelling, and creativity. Before my current role, I cut my teeth working in marketing for several well-known law firms on Long Island, where I learned the ropes and really what it means to market an idea, not a product and I find that this helped me develop a knack for crafting messages that connect with whoever the audience is.

Writing has always been a passion of mine, and something I’ve kinda gravitated towards and enjoyed since I was a little kid decorating my “Writing Notebook”, whether it’s poetry, blog posts, or just jotting down ideas… oh and my job lets me express myself which really helps keep those creative juices flowing. This site is a reflection of all of that, a place to experiment and share without too many boundaries.

When I’m not behind a screen, you’ll probably find me indulging in a few of my favorite things: binge-watching It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (which I guess technically would make me behind a screen for this too), enjoying some nice beer, or on Sunday’s you can find me at Metlife Stadium(the worst place on Earth) cheering on my New York Football Giants. I’d say I’m also into card games, trivia nights, cooking, and all kinds of sports like soccer, hockey, football, you name it. Politics is also an interest, but it’s not the whole story here; I prefer to keep things balanced and not base my persona on politics.

I’m a big fan of New York, best state in the world, its energy, its quirks, the homeless men in the city, and the endless stories it just offers. Oh, and I also like to say I’m a girl dad in training but no clue what the training is, I like tattoos and might have a little bit of a Minions obsession, but ummm well, that’s just part of the package that makes me me.

But all in all I’m a guy working a job which he does like, who writes for fun and is living life like it’s 2025. With that being said, 2025 is my Year, unless it wasn’t then 2026 will be, and if that’s not… well the plan was always 2027. Ultimately, this blog is a way to share my world through word, the serious, the silly, the thoughtful, and the spontaneous.
